Tournaments & registration
142 tournaments are open right now. Entry fees always go to the organiser, never to CricLane.
Open the tournament page and press Register team. You will be asked for your club name, the captain's phone number, the squad size and a preferred match slot. The organiser confirms on WhatsApp within 24 hours and sends the payment instructions directly — CricLane never collects the entry fee on their behalf.
The organiser does. CricLane never takes custody of entry fees, prize money or player stakes. We publish the organiser's refund policy on every tournament page before you pay, and we delist organisers who fail to honour it.
We verify the ground booking, the umpire panel, the match dates and the declared prize money before a listing is published. A tournament that cannot show a confirmed ground or a named umpire panel does not go on the site, however many teams it claims to have.
Yes, for the competitions that run a player pool. The Capital Night League and the Backwaters Women's Premier Cup both do. Add yourself to the pool from the tournament page with your role and your best contact number, and captains short of numbers pick from it in the week before the draw.
Academies & coaching
1,180 verified academies and 640 certified coaches, each visited in person before listing.
A CricLane field officer visits in person. We photograph the nets, record the surface type, check net and side-netting condition, confirm the head coach's certification number with the issuing board, and note the coach-to-player ratio for each batch. Listings are re-audited every twelve months.
Fees are set by the academy or the coach, never by us. Across the 1,180 verified academies the median is ₹2,400 a month for a three-days-a-week batch, and ₹900 for a one-to-one hour with a Level 2 coach. Every listing shows the fee before you enquire and CricLane takes no commission from it.
Yes. The 640 coaches in the directory each set their own one-to-one availability. Pick a slot, confirm on the number shown on the coach's page, and pay the coach directly at the session. We do not sit in the middle of that transaction.
Tell us and we re-audit within seven working days. If the surface, the coach certification, the batch size or the safety condition does not match what is published, we correct the listing or suspend the academy until it does. Parents who reported the problem hear back either way.
Live scores & the scorer app
31,700+ matches scored ball by ball by club officials across 38 cities.
No. Scores are entered ball by ball by club officials on our free scorer app, and the moving tickers on this site are a cosmetic simulation of that entry, not a broadcast feed. Treat a CricLane scorecard as the club's own record of the match.
Yes. The scorer app stores every delivery locally and syncs the whole innings when the connection returns. Roughly a third of the grounds we cover have no usable data signal, so this was the first thing we built.
Nothing, permanently. Club pages, player profiles, live scorecards and the scorer app are free. CricLane earns from organiser listing fees and from the shop. There is no per-match charge and no premium tier for basic scoring.
The club official who scored the match can edit it from the app for 48 hours. After that the club secretary emails us with the umpire's sheet and we make the correction. Every corrected scorecard carries a visible edited stamp with the date, because averages should not change quietly.
Fantasy insights
Analysis, not betting. CricLane runs no contests and never holds a stake of any kind.
No. CricLane publishes statistical analysis and player-form insights. We do not run contests, do not accept stakes, and do not hold user money for any game of chance or skill. The fantasy section is analysis, not betting.
It reads eleven seasons of local match data ground by ground, then weights recent form, opposition strength, surface, boundary sizes and the start time. Every prediction is published with a confidence figure and the number of comparable matches it was drawn from.
Across 2025–26, picks published above 75% confidence finished in the top three scorers of their match 61% of the time. Below 60% confidence the model is close to a coin toss, and we print that warning on the card rather than hiding it.
For personal use, yes. Redistributing or reselling our rankings, projections or scorecards commercially needs written permission from us first, and we usually grant it for non-commercial club and academy tools.

Accounts & privacy
86,400+ player profiles. Your stats are public; your phone number is not.
No. Scorecards, club pages, rankings, tournament listings and every article are readable without signing in. You need an account only to score a match, register a team, claim a player profile or run an academy listing.
Your name, club, playing role and career statistics are public — that is the point of a profile. Your phone number and email address are visible only to you, to your club official, and to the organiser of a tournament you have actually entered.
Ask from your account settings or email us. We remove your profile, contact details and login within 30 days. Match scorecards remain, because they are the club's record of a game that was played, but we replace your name with your initials on request.
Your name, phone number, email address, city, club affiliation and the matches you have appeared in. We do not sell personal data, we run no third-party advertising trackers, and every cookie we set is listed in the Privacy Policy.
Payments & refunds
Invoiced with GST by Catalyst Web Trendz Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi. Jurisdiction: New Delhi.
UPI, all major Indian debit and credit cards, net banking and the common wallets, through our payment gateway. Card details are never stored on CricLane servers.
The organiser, under the refund policy published on that tournament page before you paid. CricLane never held the money. If an organiser refuses a refund they clearly owe, tell us — we chase it on your behalf and we delist repeat offenders.
After the tournament page is approved and published, never before. Listing fees start at ₹2,500 for a single open tournament and are invoiced with GST by Catalyst Web Trendz Pvt. Ltd. Teams and players are never charged a CricLane fee.
Yes. Every shop order and every organiser listing fee is invoiced with GST by Catalyst Web Trendz Pvt. Ltd., New Delhi. The invoice reaches you by email within 24 hours of payment, and we can reissue it with your club's GSTIN on request.
Partnerships, press & careers
Sponsorship, media requests and the occasional job — all through the same desk in New Delhi.
Sponsorship runs per tournament or per season and covers ground boards, jersey placement, the live scorecard panel and the highlights package. Tell us the city, the format and the weeks you want, and we send the current pack with reach figures from the last comparable event.
No. We take clearly marked sponsor panels and tournament partnerships. We do not sell links inside articles, sponsored blog posts, or paid placement in the rankings and the most-read rail. The editorial standards on our blog explain why.
Send a note through the contact form and choose Press and media as the department. We answer press questions Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM IST, and we can share anonymised league-level data for stories about grassroots cricket in India.
Occasionally — scorers, field officers who audit academies, and writers who still play club cricket. There is no vacancy list on the site. Send a CV and one paragraph about the cricket you play through the contact form and we keep it on file for six months.
No questions under that topic yet. Show every topic or ask us directly — we answer every message.
Four promises we actually measure
Support is a small team in New Delhi, not a queue system. These are last quarter's real numbers, recalculated at the end of every quarter and published here whether they flatter us or not.
Pick the route that fits your question
Every message reaches a person at the same desk. Choosing the right route only changes who reads it first.
